Our Fundraising Program

If your organization needs a quick fund raising opportunity . . . Carondelet has the solution. There’s nothing fancy or difficult about our program. Except for a few copies for your group to use for show and tell, you only buy the number of books or prints that your group actually sells.

What’s the Return?

Depending on how many copies of, for example, Reconstructed Yankee, your group can earn $9 to $11 per book. With very little effort a group of 15 to 20 people easily can sell 100 books in a weekend - - - that would be a $1,000 return.

Right! How Easy?

Forget door-to-door! It’s not our way either. Let me give you an example. I spoke to the 6-person fund raising committee of an organization with about 150 members; 5 of the 6 bought Reconstructed Yankee at the wholesale price and we donated $9 per book to the organization. That was a Wednesday night.

The following weekend (3 days later), the committee reported to the larger group and gathered orders for 23 more books, which I delivered on Monday. By the following Monday, or 13 days later, those 29 members sold an additional 164 books for a total of 193 books. With upward adjustments for volume, this group earned $1,930 in two weeks.

How Did They Sell?

Nothing more difficult than talking with people they knew. They later expanded their sales through sales at local fairs and events. It’s really up to your group!
